Carla ShoweII-Lee

Carla ShoweII-Lee is a host and producer of CN8's "Comcast Newsmakers." The issue-oriented news program is a five-minute, live-to-tape interview that airs on CNN Headline News 25: and 55: after the hour, every day of the week.

Carla launched her broadcast career as a production assistant at KYW-Newsradio in 1991. Her interest in television was sparked after working as an audience coordinator for Bill Cosby's game show "You Bet Your Life." When the show wrapped up its final season she was hired as a producer for the Discovery Channel's top- rated show "Home Matters," a program geared to stay-at-home women. Her television news reporting for Tri-State Media led her to Comcast in April of 2000.

Carla attended Temple University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism.

Among her many accolades, Carla has received several Telly awards for her work on "Comcast Newsmakers." Besides owning her own business, Carla also serves on the advisory board of Shallyn, an apparel company based out of Bridgeport, Pennsylvania.

 

Jenn Ryan 

Jennifer Ryan has been the host of a radio public affairs program since 1995.  She has been heard on the Philadelphia airwaves for the past 8 years in many capacities, including public affairs interviewer, producer and editor, as well as news broadcaster, traffic and weather reporter, disc jockey and as a commercial voice-over talent.  Jennifer's reputation is outstanding and she is known for her true professionalism in the radio business.  She will not only ask the right questions, but will teach interviewees how to feel comfortable in front of a microphone, so they can provide interesting answers that will not only get their message across, but will also leave the audience wanting to hear more about their organization. 


Ken KiIpatrick 

Ken KiIpatrick is a veteran media relations specialist, former political consultant, journalist and is currently a weekly columnist for the Philadelphia-based newspaper, The Evening Bulletin. He has been instrumental in gaining clients national, regional, trade, and local print and broadcast media coverage. Ken has developed messaging strategies for major entities in industries that include health care, law, advocacy, biofuels, education, and retail. He has served a variety of high profile individuals and organizations to include members of the United States Senate, The White House, The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), physician activists, and superstar legend Patti LaBelle.
